On February 6, 2020, our sixth Regional Meeting was held in Ponca City at the City Central coworking space. Attendees represented various organizations including NODA, NORTPO, United Way, Kay County Health Department, Crafton Tull, PCDA, City of Enid, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Cimarron Public Transit, and Workforce Tulsa. Key topics of discussion included transit’s ability to help people “age in place,” the need for transit to medical trips, longer service spans, rural transit access, and the need for more education about existing transit services. Our last Regional Meeting will be in Woodward on March 12.
