Our fourth Regional Meeting was held at the Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant. Participants discussed challenges they face in the delivery of public transit including driver shortages, a lack of consistency in terms of service spans and fares, transportation to VA facilities, and the lack of transit to extremely rural areas. “Aging in place” and its implications on transit was another key topic of discussion.
